Will Chelsea's cash splashing pay off

Chelsea have been very busy this transfer window following a transfer ban in previous windows, signing 5 players and one of which been the highly rated youngster Kai Havertz who they signed for 89 Million pounds! 

They also signed German international, Timo Werner from RB Leipzig who has played with Havertz before on the international stage for Germany. Then possibly bargain of the window as they signed Ziyech from Ajax for just 30 million pounds. They also signed English left back, Ben Chilwell from Leicester City for 50 million pounds. And finally French center back, Malang Sarr for free on a five year deal.

But what impact will they have on Lampard’s side going into the new season and will they be able to better their 4th place finish from last season? Some believe that the players will not gel straight away whereas some believe these players will make an instant impact and help Chelsea challenge for the title.

Some even believe that Lampard is not the right man to lead this talented, young Chelsea squad forward. 

Last season was a good one for Chelsea though considering the fact they has a transfer ban. Pulsic came in as the replacement for Hazard and she started to step up following lockdown. And an attack with a fully fit and inform Werner, Havertz, Pulsic and Ziyech could really boost Chelsea to a title challenging position.

They started the season with a 3-1 win against Brighton in a game which saw multiple players make debuts in a game that in all truth was not dazzling but Chelsea wont care as they brought the three points back to Chelsea.
