UK’s Lateral and PCR test increases with Prime Minister’s Press Conference underway

The Prime Minister has announced that he will be holding a press conference today at 5pm, and according to experts Omicron is said to be the most severe to the public’s health since the beginning of the pandemic

With the new restrictions back into place, the public are concerned to know whether Christmas will be cancelled like last year or we will return to a more face to face Christmas again. There may be some possibility of a Christmas again, however Covid Passports may be introduced into the country as the Prime Minister has been said to be in favour of them.

Along with that the UK inflation has soared past the September 2011 one by inflation increasing by 5.1% in November, higher than that of in October by 4.2%. This is exceeding the Bank of England’s predictions of inflation as the cost of living also soars up too

Potential topics that may be covered is what procedures that will be taken place during the Christmas period for the safety of the public and may be another lockdown due to the Omicron variant surpassing the Delta variant being the main variant in the UK.

It is quite advised to still get the vaccine while we can due to the number of different variants that could lead to more resistance unless the needed procedures are taken into place to prevent another severe surge in cases, hospitalisation, and deaths.
