Trump vs Biden - A knife-edge Election

Holly Woodcock

There is plenty of tension across the world today as the US Election puts Trump and Biden head to head for President – but what will happen?

Will projections favour Biden, or will the tables turn to see Trump take over? There is still time to see a change, but at present, Joe Biden is expected to reach 270 votes by the end of the day.

The 2020 American Election has been a whirlwind and it is not over yet! Vote counting is still ongoing in some states across the US and a possible recount may be taking place in Wisconsin, which has been requested by Trump campaigners, meaning that knowing the outcome of the President could be pushed back even further. This will create more friction as the fear of the unknown grows even bigger.

With so much news to digest at such a quick pace, it is difficult to keep up with what is happening. However, social media is flooding with information and is a handy tool to be using to keep an eye on the current news.

Hopefully, the tension will dissolve soon, and a President will be elected before the day ends. A clear path is hard to pinpoint as Biden and Trump are at a knife-edge. Only time will predict the future.
