The top 5 Christmas films to watch in the second lockdown

Stacey Moriarty

Do you want to watch some good Christmas films during this second lockdown? This winter is probably the most boring one we've had yet, so get a hot chocolate and put these films on your TV!

1.Elf

At the beginning of the list, we have Elf. You can beat sitting in front of a fire and screening the good old film of elf on the TV. From the big friendly giant of buddy to the most sweetest diner you can find. We have to agree that as a child, we looked at the spaghetti and thinking maybe, I will try that. It's such a lovely film; one to set off the Christmas season.

2.The Grinch

At number two, I’d suggest watching Grinch (not the cartoon one). We all have someone we know to be a Grinch at Christmas. So why not relate to the film and watch it. In addition, you have to feel sorry for Max, that poor dog, he is cheeky and loveable but lives in a cave!

3.Snow Dogs

In third, as an unpopular opinion, I’ve always put the film snow dogs/Santa buddy’s in my top five. Seeing the cute dogs on cute Christmas outfits is adorable! This film is a good one for restoring Christmas energy.

4.Mrs Browns Boys

At Christmas, from as long as I remember, I’ve always watched the Mrs Browns Boys Christmas specials. They are hilarious not just to me, but to the entire family. If you want a good laugh, this is a good one for you to watch.

5.The Night Before Christmas

I’ve only just got to watch it, but The Night Before Christmas is a good film to watch from the end of October to the end of December. The amount of effort Tim Burton put into that film is immense, and it really shows.
