The year is 2021 and Manchester UTD are finally back in 1st position after going 6 years without being top of the tree.
After last nights 1-0 win over a very solid Burnley side Ole’s red devils sit 3pts clear, the criticism is still a major talking point around the Norwegian with his game plan being questioned week in week out. They have been said to not be ‘playing like champions’ but its as simple as if you win a football match…you win a football match. UTD fans are feeling on top of the world right and so they should be, but I also think they have it in the back of there minds they can have a little blip now and again, however if UTD develop a ‘champions mentality’ I can see them being very hard to beat this season. I do not think they are on the level of Liverpool and Manchester City as of yet, but I can definitely see the improvement in the recent months; I also see Ole prioritising the league after being knocked out of the Champions League in emphatic style.
Sunday the 17th will be a massive test for UTD as they face Liverpool at Anfield. The champions will be looking to bounce back after a very poor defeat against Southampton in their last premier league outing. This match will really test UTD to see if they are back to there best, but beating Liverpool at home is not easy in the slightest.
