Leeds upturn in form was totally curtailed last night as they were taken apart by a ruthless Man city at the Etihad
Leeds have struggled badly with injuries this season but put in spirited performances at the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham but seemed hopeless at stopping the brilliant City side as they fired 7 past the whites, the first goal was a preventable one as Phil Foden’s tame shot was straight at Stuart Dallas who was covering the goalmouth after Meslier was stuck in no mans land but the utility man miss kicked the clearance and the ball ended up in the net and it was downhill from there

Jack Grealish headed in the second for his first goal in 13 games, it was three on 32 minutes as Kevin De Bruyne finished one on one with Meslier at the near post, Mahrez added a 4th just after half time and De Bruyne made it 5 with the best goal of the night, a screamer from outside the box which flew past Meslier. The two centre backs john Stones and Nathan Ake rounded the scoring off for 7-0, a relegation battle looms for the whites.
