I think everyone could see this coming…

Kayne West ran for president. Yes, read back over that last sentence.

The 2020 election was always going to have a kick to it, with Donald Trump already being in charge and his questionable decisions highlighting his career as president since 2016, and 77 year old Joe Biden coming out of the blue with his former vice-presidency integrity sparking an old flame inside of him. 

But something very particular occurred…Kayne West ran for president. Yes, read back over that last sentence. When people realised he was being serious it was ground-breaking, the multiple award-winning artist running to become in charge of the most powerful country in the word did not seem real. As he started his presidential run he was mocked and not taken seriously…which is a very common theme when you run an independent party and also I don’t think being ‘Kanye West’ is going to be taken seriously.

However, it did not go exactly to plan for Kanye, with an abysmal 57,000 votes across 12 states he has admitted defeat. But he has already thrown himself into the deep end and is running for presidency in 2024. Do not get me wrong I find it mental that someone of Kanye’s stature can get gather some sort of political asset added to his career, and the scary thing is I can see him doing well in 2024. You may think I am crazy but look who is currently in charge…
