Fruitful spell under Biden?

This year’s U.S Election has been one of the craziest in American history. Former Vice President, to former President Barack Obama, Joe Biden, is this year’s opponent trying to take the White house from current President, Donald Trump. With the battle ending soon, let us see what happens if Biden becomes president and how the future for American Citizens could change.

Climate Change

Biden has been talking about change in recent months and he has made a new plan of his own that he is wanting to put forward which is a huge $2trn climate and job plan with huge investments on green infostructure and is wanting get going right away on the target of making America a Carbon Neutral country by 2050. Covid He has been strong talking on the Covid front and last week he was saying that the Covid Vaccine when produced should be free for everyone even if they are not insured. He wants to intensify and nationalise various plans brought in this year. The mask mandates likely to be made a national policy. He wants to use the defence production act to get companies to manufacture the Covid equipment the country needs.

Economy

In terms of the Economy Biden has described the income inequality as enormous and he agrees that massive cuts can be made in the massive $1.6tn in tax loopholes and he also wants to eliminate Donald Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy. He wants to ramp up the American manufacturing. He wants to inject more money into businesses and households. He also plans on investing on economy boosting things such as Infrastructure, childcare services, and clean energy. His racial equity plan means he will invest in small business, affordable education closing wage gap, Guaranteed payed leave.

Gun control

Biden has promised as President to get certain war weapons off of the streets for good, The Second Amendment, or Amendment II, of the United States Constitution is the amendment and the section of the Bill of Rights that says that people have the right to keep and bear arms. Biden has said that this amendment is not been broken by banning these certain weapons.

Healthcare

Biden wants to try make healthcare more accessible to everyone with things such as lower drug prices, ending surprise bills and wants to protect all the rural hospitals that face closure. He wants to build on the in-place Obamacare instead of scraping it. He wants to simply the system with public healthcare options.

Immigration

He believes that all those that are seeking asylum he has said America should be a nation where “If you want to flee and you’re fleeing oppression, you should come.” He also wants to change the order that Trump has just made saying that women who where been abused and beat could no longer claim asylum. He wants to increase things like work-based visas issues.
