Deep down every football fan has the euros at the back of their minds. After Euro 2020 were cancelled, every football was wounded as the Euros are massive and are always looked forward to.
Football fans get excited because supporting your country in a major torment is one of the best feelings, rivalries are put to one side and everyone players that do not play for their club. On the topic of players,…which 5 English players should be given a chance.
The England squad for the upcoming euros will be massive debate until the squad is announced; the debates on social media start to become heated, as everyone is passionate about their country. The English national side looks like it could be at its best for the first time in years, with the squad depth looking unreal, but there is still some unliveable English talent that does not have their first senior cap.
Firstly; Aaron Ramsdale. Starting from the back, Aaron Ramsdale is a solid GK and is slowly proving himself to become a great player. The Sheffield UTD number 1 moved from Bournemouth in the summer for £18.5m and he should be on Southgate watch list.

Next up on the list is; Ben Godfrey. The 22 year old bagged himself a £25m move to Everton on transfer deadline. The centre half was a shining light in a very poor Norwich side last season which evenly earnt him a return to the premier league.

Middle of the list, joining the long list of English centre backs; Ben White. The Brighton number 3 was on loan at Leeds UTD last season, helping them secure a place back in the premier league for the first time in 16 years. The young defender developed massively in the past season, with some of the big 6 sniffing around him in transfer window…however he’s became a regular starter for Brighton this season.

Next on the list; Eddie Nketiah. The-under-23 striker has been solid for Arsenal towards the end of last season and the start of this one. The playmaker has been trusted highly by Arteta and started at the weekend against Sheffield Utd.

Finally; Eberechi Eze. Last season Eze was the golden boy of the Championship, gathering attention from massive clubs across the world, he was included in the Under 23 squad for the upcoming internationals, but personally I think he should be in the first team.
