England vs Iceland

A look at how both teams could line up and how important bouncing back from defeat will be for England.

England fell to defeat against Belgium on Sunday night but there was some positives to take from the performance. The star man, Jack Grealish did not look out of place in that England team at all; in fact, he looked like one of the best players on the pitch. England actually looked the better team throughout, yet they didn’t have enough to get back into the game after falling two behind and ending the game with a 2-0 defeat. They will be hoping that this game against Iceland will be a chance to bounce right back.

Iceland on the other hand will still be hungover from a last gasp defeat against Hungary in the European championships play offs. They conceded twice late on which sent Hungary to the Euros and Iceland in agony. So I am sure Iceland will be wanting to bounce back and grab an unlikely win against England, something which has happened before might I add.

Let’s take a look at predicted line-ups. For me, Jack Grealish has cemented his place in the team and will start along with Kane. With Henderson injured, we could see a first start for young Jude Bellingham.

Due to thst fact, neither team can win this nations league group. I believe both sides will rest important players so I think walker could be dropped for Keane. It could be likely that we will see Kane dropped for Dominic Calvert-lewin. I also believe Jadon Sancho will start for England after only coming on against Belgium for 20 minutes.
