COVID-19 on the rise...

The Recent news conference with medical officer Chris Whitty and chief scientist advisor sir Patrick Vallace reveal to public that if this continues things could get much WORSE.

Chris Whitty and sir Patrick Vallace have recently given word to the public in their presentation about the current state the UK is in they informed us that the increase in number of cases started with younger people and quickly spread to older generations. They revealed that as covid spreads there will be an increase of hospitalization and therefore an increase in deaths.

They revealed the statistics that 70 thousand people in the UK have covid and 6 thousand people are bound to get it. They stressed the importance of people not mixing households and continuing to wash hands and wear masks and to self-isolate if they have symptoms or they have come from a country that if on the self-isolation list. They said since September the cases have been doubling every seven days.

They have predicted that if this keeps going by mid-October there will be 50 thousand cases a day and 200 plus deaths a day in November. They have informed that vast majority of the population is susceptible to Covid 19 they said as we head into autumn and winter the covid will benefit from the seasons as it does with the flu. They have also put aside rumours that this Covid is milder than it was in April stating that “they have no evidence to back this up”.

The cases in children however have not increased but if you go up the age groups you see cases of mortality rising in elderly and 20 to 29 year olds. They warned that if this gets out of control NHS could get overwhelmed as they won’t have time to focus on other people with different diseases will suffer. However if you do too much the economy could go down too much.
