Robert Pattison has been spotted suited up as Batman as filming for the upcoming movie starts in Liverpool, alongside co-stars Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell.

Flans fled to catch a glimpse of the celebrities, filming outside St George’s hall, despite strict tier 3 lockdown rules being put into place for the city. With the actors, all wearing black outfits and the set transformed into a sombre setting, it’s suspected that a dark funeral scene was being filmed. Extra’s and crew could be seen wearing masks to keep the spread of Covid-19 at a minimum.

Colin Farrell looked unrecognizable wearing heavy prosthetics and a receding hairline wig to completely transform into his villainous character, Oswald Cobblepot, also known as The Penguin.

Zoe Kravitz looked stunning in her all black fit, wearing a leather trench coat and thick boots to transform into Catwoman.
Filming for the £100 million movie has proven to be difficult so far. Filming was originally meant to have started back in January, but was postponed due to the pandemic. To top it off, lead star Pattison contracted coronavirus early September, halting filming again.
Since recovering and testing negative, production for the movie is back in full swing and get excited as its set to hit our screens in March 2022. Back in February, director Matt Reeves gave us a first glimpse at the upcoming blockbuster, releasing a minute-long shot of Robert Pattison completely transformed into Batman. Since then we’ve also had a sneak peek through the released trailer, showing a sneak peek at Catwoman’s character and The Riddler.
