Barnsley's 5th McDonalds branch has now opened

A new McDonalds has now opened at Birdwell in Barnsley, joining numerous other fast food chains and restaurants. McDonalds will be joining Dunkin Donuts, KFC, Taco Bell, Costa, Starbucks and, Dearne Valley Farm Pub. Off the Rockingham Roundabout on the Dearne Valley Parkway, close to Junction 36 of the M1.

This fast food chain has services for dining-in, takeaway, drive-thru, delivery, and click and serve. The new opening has created 75 jobs which are both part time and full time. Mr Ventura, the owner has said: 'We are delighted to be opening another brand new McDonalds's restaurant on Dearne Valley and c ant wait to see local customers, both new and old, enjoy our services on offer'
